The only thing that's stopped him reaching the highest heights is his lack of dedication. When he's fit, you see his touch, his awareness, his cleverness, his work rate, his strength and his acceleration. When he isn't fit, so at the start of every season, all you see is him looking for free kicks and being generally embarrassing.

At the end of the day, it's up to him. He's sorted out what matters in his life, and good luck to him. He's one of a kind in the modern game. You can only imagine what he could have been.
