Really ? Was lovely the one time I met him. When he did his book for charidee mate, I was

unable to donate to the charity to get a signed copy as he did it cheque / postal order only - neither of which exist in the Netherlands. I contacted him asking if I could pay with credit card or direct bank transfer, and he sent me a signed copy personally (the writing on the envelope matched the note he wrote in the book), and told me he'd find a way to sort out the payment.

He never did get back to me so I gave him 30 quid when I saw him in the Gunn lounge a few years later.
