I like Holtmania's analysis - but I don't think it's fair to Crofts

you don't have to make tackles to defend well. You can prevent passes by good positiong, you can force opponents in to less dangerous areas - he's very good positionally and excellent at tracking runners.

His big weakness is his use of the ball. That's a big problem when playing alongside Johnson who is also not the best passer.
