"Big clubs"...
After reading articles about the new Sunderland manager and about where Sunderland fans think a "club of their size" belongs, I was just thinking that in order to satisfy every club who think they should be an established Premier League team we should just expand the PL to 46 teams.
Still annoys me every time I read that line. Sunderland, Newcastle, Leeds, Leicester, Middlesborough, West Ham, Ipswich, Southampton, Cardiff, Charlton, Portsmouth, the list goes on. Plus all the teams currently in the Prem of course.
I really don't get this logic of deserving to be successful because you're a "big" club. Even we are guilty of that thinking at times.
