Our standard of football has dropped a long way since the start of the season. Yesterday
it was pretty appalling from start to finish, with very few attractive moves or pieces of skill: we're well into battle-zone mentality now. It will be interesting to see who ends up on top between us and Swansea, because Swansea seem to have stayed true to their pass-and-move creed. It may well be us, but it ain't pretty. It just highlights how short we are of quality - and that's not a criticism, it's an observation: I would much rather see us winning ugly and cheaply at this stage because it's building for a better future.

- Sadly, teams like QPR don't let you play anything but ugly football. (NCFC) - tim berry, Nov 27, 10:01:28
