I watched a bit of 20/20 this summer

I'm not a huge fan of cricket anyway - I like to watch it from time to time but wouldn't rush home to catch it on TV etc.

Anyway, the T20 seemed just to lack something. It ought to have been thrilling, but it wasn't. It was a bit crap actually. Ask me who was playing? Can't remember. Didn't watch it to the finish.

The best thing about cricket, for me, is that I know of no other game where the balance can shift so suddenly: one side has the advantage and then suddenly the oppo seems to have the upper hand. It might be one big over for the batting side, or a key batsman dismissed, or even a significant slowing of the scoring rate. I love that.
