He's had quite a few bad games recently and made a lot of mistakes generally tbf!

He was very poor against Liverpool positionally and was only let off due to Suarez's indecisiveness, poor fininishing and the form of John Ruddy. Against Blackburn he was very weak against Yakubu although none of the defense were good. Yesterday he had a complete horror. Couple that in with the red card against Stoke, the penalty against Bolton and general poor defending for the Sunderland (should have blocked the shot) and Swansea (got unnessecerily dragged out of position) goals then you can see it's not a one off thing.

Mind you, Naughton has been just as poor recently and I don't think Martin is a long term solution at CB. We're just going to have to ride this out til January unfortunately as I doubt that any of our defensive replacements are a great improvement.
