Fire-fighters were called when a man got stuck up a drainpipe trying to rescue a cat

A man stuck up a drainpipe near Wensum Park in north Norwich yesterday was trying to rescue a cat, it has emerged.

As reported, a fire crew from Sprowston was called to St Martin?s Close at about 4.20pm, to reports that a man was stuck up a drainpipe.

A spokesman for Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said: ?One crew from Sprowston attended reports of a person stuck up a drainpipe. It?s believed they were attempting to rescue a cat.?'

So, just to sum up, a man got stuck up a drainpipe. He was trying to rescue a cat.
