I do. Hackney council are way, way better than they were 20 or even 10 years ago.
And even on this issue, it's more complicated than you might think. The headlines are assuming that the only thing that matters with adoption is speed. Hackney council are slower, but adopted kids have better outcomes than other councils (the two are no doubt connected).
Not saying that Hackney council are perfect on this - but a lot of the perceptions of them are, I suspect, pretty outdated.
(And you're the board's stand in angry right-winger, for when EtuWho's not around, aren't you? Is your opinion of Hackney council connected with that, by any chance?)
