If those players appear to have a bad game, I just think they've probably not had the game Lambert's usual massive high standards demand

In my opinion, if Holt didn't have Lambert as his manager in these twilight years. I think he'd have still been a good league one striker

Under Lambert, and this season has proved it, if Holt wants to play, and play to his best, he has to trim up and work his balls off. It's clear in close season Holt likes to relax and let himself go a bit.

Luckilly Holt's reacted positively to not being first pick, has got fully fit, and has stopped hugging defenders and dropping to the floor so much
