The Dalkey Archive Press are still looking at it - should hear from them this or next week
Feedback is reasonably good - they've praised me for taking on such an ambitious project, and really like my discussion of Heppenstall's pivotal novel (The Connecting Door, if you want to track it down and read it).
They're not quite so keen on my chronological arrangement, which they found a bit lazy, and suggest that the case I make for RH's rehabilitation is a bit ill-defined.
All easily fixed though (a couple of paragraphs should do the trick) although if the publishers do take it on, I'm going to have to add quite a bit of material anyway.
Still, good enough to net me my distinction!
