These Stone Roses Chaps...

...whats that all about anyway?

Being of the Pink Floyd, Yes and Hawkwind vintage (though Lemon Jelly, Banco De Gaia, FSOL and Younger Brother are all popular contemporary beat combos with me) I think I missed all that indy and Manc scene, well, didn't miss it, it simply happened with me oblivious in Hawkwind land...

Could an old hippy "get" the Stone Roses?
Any recommendations?
