Morning King,
I signed a contract with an employment agency about 5 weeks ago. In it, it says that should any employer they place me with, want to take me on full time, I have to have been working there for 13 weeks, else they have to pay.
With the employment law regarding agency workers having changed on October 1st, I was wondering whether this contract was now invalid? They have offered me an amended contract, but i have yet to sign it. Am I still bound by the old contract until I sign the new one, or do I have no contract at this moment?
I am trying to find a loophole to get out of it, as the employer they have placed me with is offering jobs, and it would be easier if I was not tied to the agency.
Hope this make some sort of sense!
