Brick Lane isn't that far from there really, short taxi/bus ride
have a massive choice of about 30 in that area, must be about 5 within a mile of the Red Lion Pub as well. I've not come across any bad Curry Houses in that part of London really but can't think of any outstanding ones either, although there probably is 1/2 in Brick Lane at the more expensive end.
