England's Group Table (Euros)

Why all the fuss about England ?having? to get at least a point last night?
They were home and dry, barring freak results for Montenegro!
If Montenegro had win 3-0 last night, they?d have been on 14 points with a GD of plus 5.
England would have finished on 17 points with a GD of plus 9.

So Montenegro would still have needed to win in Switzerland by 4-0, 5-1 etc, just to be level on points and GD with England-and would, therefore, then have gone through, having had the better results on agg against England?

Those two results for them would never have happened, so why the tension beforehand?
