I think a united Europe as a counter-power to the US is a good thing ...
... but maybe not in such formal, organised terms. I'm not *that* up on the EU really, but I know enough about Silvio Berlusconi to know that if the EU is capable of making him its figurehead (albeit temporarily) then it's not something I condone.
