Fao Sam re mobile broadband...
In my experience the quality of the provider really depends on the location. This is for the uk only as here it's a smaller country. But some providers are better in some parts of the country and others elsewhere. Also research the quality of INDOOR coverage on 3G because that is often different per provider !
