In recent years my dislike of Mancs Utd has waned. I've lost the hatehorn I used to have.

I found my dislike transferring to nouveau super-riche clubs like Chelsea and Man City. Before today I was happy with how swaggeringly good Man Utd were looking, because at least, I thought, the f**king league trophy wouldn't be going to the Mincers again or Middle Eastlands for the first oil-soaked time.

No more.

No f**king more.

I had the distinct pleasure today of being treated to a free seat in the North Stand at Old Trafford, civil engineering marvel that it is, by my marvellous brother-in-law.

But the naked rank arrogance of the Man Utd fans around me has renewed my dislike. Re-invigorated my hate-horn. The arrogance is best illustrated by that chant: We'll do what we like. We're Man United. We'll do what we like. Chanted immediately after what was only a minor indiscretion in etiquette, when they failed to give the ball back when Norwich just stopped playing while one of their f**king pansies was rolling about "hurt".

Fuck them.

Anyone But United.
