One minor positive I hadn't thought of
Jacko beat his man and dragged his shot narrowly wide of the far post: this indicates he might be the Jacko from 2011 and not the one from 2010 who'd have banged it anywhere if he'd got a shot off at all.
In Vaughan's absence I'd now be calling for him to be given a go. We couldn't afford to send on 2010 Jacko in the Prem.
There's pace and (hopefully) a finisher, right there.
