...in games which ultimately mean nothing, attract the worst kind of "fans" and distract entirely from proper football. If I ruled the world there would be
a) no internationals
b) actually, no pro football other than at Three O'Clock On A Saturday, which is when the good Lord ordained football should be played (in a verse controversially struck from the Book of Genesis). None of this fannying around with games spread over 3-4 days each long weekend.
