I have just sen that Kieren Richardson has apologised to Sunderland supporters
He has apologised for last night's defeat to us.
Maybe that helps explain to Sunderland supporters, although I doubt they will understand, exactly what is wrong with their team.
Just because we're Norwich, recently promoted and expected to get relegated, players and supporters of the opposition expect to roll into town and turn us over without expecting any rearguard action on our part. How dare we be better then them?
Would he appologise if they'd just lost to Manchester United?
It must really surprise some of these teams in the bottom half of the table when we put up a fight. They'll all have had us down for three points and thinking we'll finish below them and long may it continue.
With a bit of luck we'll be out of sight before they've noticed.
