on BBC at the moment Jonathan Dimberley is going through South America. Episode 1 aired the other night and started in Chile and Bolivia. A couple of very odd comments on Chile I can't possibly agree with. One point he claims that Rodeo is almost as popular as Football! This from what I can see is based on 2004 more spectators went to Rodeo competitions than football matches. He went to Santiago, Rancagua, Antofagasta (well Atacama rather than the city it seemed). The other comment was how the police are now the face of a new liberal society. arf.
