Left Palace in the play-off season for Birmingham

After Palace were doing very well. We lost 3-2 there on a Sunday. I think it was a Sunday as all the horrible losses at Selhurst just merge into one bad memory.

Simon Jordan put him on gardening leave until the compensation was sorted out.

Of all the ex-NCFC players & staff around, and there are loads, he is the one I feel the least affinity with, even though he scored that goal in 1985 which won the semi-final game.
