new tactics and formations take time to get used to. Some great managers at clubs had bad to average starts whilst they changed the team and the philosophy.

I think the Bielsa appointment was wrong because Capparos was showing year on year improvement. Bielsa is a good manager when given complete control and time over a project. He doesn't work when the team have influence from other sources which is why he failed with Argentina, he saw this happening with Chile, when Segovia came into head up the Chilean FA.

From what my Athletic supporting mate tells me, the feeling over in Spain is that he needs to be given a few more games as their are some promising signs and spells of play but the team can't do it for long periods yet. It would be silly to sack him this early, they must have known the risks in appointing somebody so completely different in everyway to Capparos.
