I'm happy with phones, as if I'm listening to music I want it loud

When i was last burgled they took my hifi seps, and the insurers insisted I replace everything with items of similar value. These Bose speakers caught my eye, so I bought 'em. They've never had a proper workout, as they're clearly intended for a small hall, not a back room: they sound crap, because I can't turn up beyond 0.5 on the 10 scale without rattling the windows. So I use phones for the hifi too!
