Changing times..........

when I was a kid growing up in the 60s/70s Norwich..... it was quite prevalent for family members (and people in shops) to use the term (N-Word) Brown when describing wool or clothing of a very dark brown in nature.

There were almost zero racial connotations in terms of intent even though its kind of cringy when you look back.
It was a word almost used without thought, something that had been used for a long time.
It was used on labels on various products for a long time.

I think sometimes we can learn more from recent history than ancient history.
