Good point but surely the idea of returning to the reserve league ...

is to give the fringe players a run out more than once a fortnight or so. They'll not be up to speed if called on, at least a reserve game is actually a match rather than traynun?
Not having a go, just think it's strange they are not getting any time in a proper match sit-u-ation!
