Odemwingie Hit The Ground Running...
WBA signed him from Lokomotive Moscow, he scored on his debut, has something like 15 goals from 35 starts and is probably their most potent player-I'd like to be playing them if he was out.
I don't understand Lamberts attitude to foreign players-especially as he has played abroad and settled sufficiently quickly to establish his place in the Dortmunf team and end up with a CL medal when, with the best will in the world, he was signed by them as a squad player.
Maybe our scouting network isn't all it should be in Europe and we are relying on-or not relying on and just ignoring them-videos and recommendations re.foreign players, rather than having people out there watching games, players and making sound judgements-which is what WBA would have got with Odemwingie.
