Northerners v Southnerners debate further down...
By my own personal experience i have met some extreamly freindly southern people and some very nice northern people.
On the whole though i would say Northeners are a lot more chatty,asking you what you like,what your into, rather than the obsession in the home counties of "what job do you do?","what job prospects do you do?"..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
The seem warmer,kinder hearted people,howveer saying this i have found similar people in the south,but an awful lot seem self centred,dull and obsessed with status.
Much rather chat about issues,music or football or something personally.
