In my experience Northern people are far more friendly........
than southerners.
If you were standing by yourself in a pub in Norwich people would look at you like you were a weirdo or a lepper, but if you were standing by yourself in a pub in a city such as Manchester or Newcastle i bet people would talk to you and ask you why you were on your own.
