Re. Pubs showing our games. What are the possible ramifications for the game?..
There has always been a law that prevents games from being showed at 3pm on a Saturday to supposedly protect clubs attendances for matches. From what I understand this law has been changed or a new precedence has been set that is allowing pubs to show live games at 3pm on a Saturday.
Now I think that this is great from a personal point of view. But surely this is going to have an effect on gates for all clubs? The lower league clubs are particularly vunerable and could go to the wall.
What do you think?
