Get her to cut her nails

If you are at the head end (as I was) on two occasions she might want to hold your hand when the going got tough as it did for Mrs KC. There?s a good chance that she will dig her nails in and the shorter her nails are, the less likely you are to have huge blooded gouge marks on your hand.
