Gordon Stewart died in a plane crash!

I really liked that story-it was "unique" at the time in that it had women, players throwing up, fights, and was, all in all, a bit more 'real' than the run of the mill stories.

Devastating. Please tell me he won lots of honours before he died! And respect for your comic book knowledge....
