This questions is asked every year, but why oh why play international friendlies just
2 weeks before the start of the season ?
Nobody at full match fitness, have to get used to different players and systems while their clubs are still trying to gel with any new players / systems they want to use this year, and most importantly they will all play at different paces (some scared of injury, others trying to impress) which makes for a very high injury risk.
And because of all the above, the quality will be s**t anyway. Don't see the point.
Well, apart from the $$$$$$$ (hint got a pound key)
