The mountain stages are amazing
Thousands of people, camping out, eating and drinking (but not cavorting) together.
Then it is not like a flat stage, the riders don't all go past in five seconds flat in the peloton, it takes ages and this year, with the Alpe being the last mountain stage, it is pivotal so it will be really interesting to see who goes for it.
