The scandal is that any new PM starts off by meeting Murdoch

and spends that much time cultivating them - particularly NI. Whatever party the PM leads. And don't think anyone is arguing Labour were innocent.

Incidentally though, the idea that this lot are more open is laughable. It was the last lot that introduced the Freedom of Information Act (and subsequently wished they hadn't, many times).
