I listened to the interview.

He put De Laet forward as one of the 4 CB he has.......which is obviously true.

But we already know that he can play anywhere accross the back.

I dont think you can carry 5 out and out CBs in a 25 man PL squad. You can always buy in JAN if you have a crisis.

Thats probably why he also went for Caulker who wouldnt have counted against the 25.

What we get from the interview is that when he mentioned another player in the backline he was probably talking about a LB (i dont think he calls GK backline)

Interesting in the interview he gives props to previous loan signings...... Fraser Forster, Lansbury, Pacheco, Rob Edwards and Stephen Elliot.

Sound like he was laying down the groundwork for more loan signings.

Lansbury or Pacheco would be ideal as obviously both wouldnt count towards the 25
