Then, every time they get sent away tickets from one of the other clubs, they debit you the face value and reserve you a ticket, before they go on sale to anyone else.

So the total cost is equal to the cost of all the away tickets added up.

You get a small number of chances to say in advance that you don't want tickets to a given game - I think it's three chances or five or something.
