To be honest, it wasn't far off back in Euro 2000. Tickets were going for

thousands from touts.

Only way I got any was at face value from a friend who worked at a marketing company, who had some that their partners had surprisingly returned due to not being able to attend.

Managed QF and SF that way, then got ticket to the final from a BBC correspondent who got called away on another assignment the day of the final. If I'd gone through official channels I'd never have got one. Full of corporate tickets
