Following on from teh 100 quid shoe thread below. Is 150-200 quid too much
to spend on a light waterproof jacket?
Went shopping at the weekend and seriously, all the brand-name jackets I saw (I want one for biking) were 100 quid minimum and a most were twice that - Columbia, North Face, Mamut, Marmot, Lippi etc etc.
Mammut took the prize though with their seemingly flimsy anorak at 300 quid

- Perhaps, but I just thought it was a ripoff regardless of whether I could afford it (General Chat) - Worzel Scrimmage, Jun 21, 23:30:04
