obviously Malky must have been given some assurances from the owners that its not likely.
His job was reasonably safe at Watford.
After selling their best players he couldnt be expected to challenge for the playoffs next season.
The expectations at Cardiff are higher but the fact they have lost so much quality must at least buy him some time to rebuild the squad.
