In my opinion it will be more than 6. probably 7-8 in total.

In the same intreview Lambert says it will be about 6..... then he says he is worried about the 25 man PL squad list.

Either he doesnt know how the 25 man list works (doubtful) or it will be way more than 6.

I think the first 4 players are pretty locked in.

We have been heavilly linked with attacking midfield players.....
(Snodgrass, Osman and Obertan)

We also need a keeper.

So we arnt looking for any defenders?

Not true........ Harry said we enquired about CB Caulker and we have been heavilly linked with Ritchie De Laet who can play accross the back.

So using all the info we have I expect us to have the following in before the end of the window

Morison
Vaughan
Bennet
Johnson
(Ritchie De Laet)
(Attacking midfield/winger)
(CB)
(GK)

Now it may end up 6 permanents and 2 loans.

As an example If we dont get our attacking midfield targets we could go for Dani P. on loan.
