but think how poor Mackenzie was until probably Man City at home. This was about the time Francis went off the boil. But it was two thirds of the way through the season, and up until then francis had been very good. Aswell as the examples already offered, Newcastle away, Man City away, Soton at home and he had Holt alongside him! If you start well and fade, you always get more stick than the other way round.
