The last drop of ambition would be drawn out of the club if we lose Snodgrass, for virtually any price, in my opinion.
If we're serious about promotion, we need to build a team around the likes of Snodgrass and Gradel.

The days of us been a selling club to the likes of Bolton and Norwich.
Howson to Bolton, Snodgrass to Norwich!!!
Its disgraceful, we are a HUGE club.
Who the f**k is Barry Douglas? and Danny f**king Ings???
Its f**king shocking, we should basically send all of these clubs a big FUCK OFF letter telling them to stay away from our players!!!
Ive never really said this, but, FUCK OFF BATES YOU CUNT, invest some money of f**k off!!!

First of all, Norwich and Bolton are above us in a league that players from all over the world want to play in. Forget the name, size or history of the club, they're one piece in the Premier League jigsaw, so we can't really compete. They're a stepping stone away from the biggest clubs in the world. When we're on a level playing field, we'll invariably blow them out of the water because we aren't like Wigan and Bolton, who have no more room to grow. We could be massive again.
Money isn't necessarily the answer. Blackpool last year, Norwich to some extent this year. Norwich haven't spent as much as many in the Championship, but I bet they were still in the red to the tune of millions. They took a gamble and it paid off. But for every gamble that pays off, there are 10 that don't. Spending money seems to be everybody's answer to success, but usually, it's the shortest route to failure. Run your club well first and foremost.
Nobody expected Norwich to go straight up and I think their success has been used as a measure against ours.
If I was in charge, I'd be doing the same thing. Think of how many footballers there are in Europe. Plenty of good players let their contracts expire, so why not use what would be given to another club as a signing-on fee to lure a player? Or use it to up the wages for someone? You'd be surprised at just how free a free transfer is...
Don't worry guys. The Leeds United roller-coaster has dipped into the underworld and is climbing with every day. We lost some hangers-on, but the loyal ones have remained. It's been difficult for everyone, but you can start to enjoy the ride again. After all, that's why you got on in the first place ;)
