Good morning Pollyannas
Saturday's starting line-up contained just 2 players who were in the side the night promotion was won at Sunderland. The remainder were 8 Worthington signings - and a player that Worthington has tried to sell.
The latest Pollyanna line is, as best I can see, that it is all the players' fault for not giving 100%. Presumably then, it was all the fault of Green and McVeigh? Is that why he went off? Because otherwise it was the fault of Worthington's own signings - and that can hardly be right can it? This is a manager that has always made a song-and-dance about not signing bad apples.
It might be an idea, I suppose, to bring in someone to motivate the players. Although, as I ALWAYS say, Worthington himself can do that if he really tries. After all, he told them before the Fulhan game that they weren't playing for their futures, and that is exactly how most of them played.
