Couldnt understand the booing when mcveigh went off on sat

I felt for quite a long time that mcveigh was having a poor game. I lost count of the number of times that he was eased off the ball. Saturday for me showed why he had been phased out of the team in the first place.

This view was echoed all around me by other fans and I couldnt help but think that the booing was more to do with his popularity than anything he had done in the game.

Now I understand that others will think he was having a better game than i thought he was, but all I am saying is that Worthington wasnt alone in his thinking.

Also i actually felt that we played the best we have played at home all year and made Reading look fairly ordinary. I also think that we have finally found a centre half partnership that looks like it has real promise.
