Dario Gradi wouldn't have put up with him if he had bad attitude problems.

Maynard keeps himself to himself and likes to get on with the job. Like Dean Ashton in that respect (also ex-Crewe).

I think Maynard would have cost ?4m+ hence why PL has signed Vaughan.
