Don't hire any boats called Japonica from Martham boatyard. In last year's three rivers race we were coming back into Horning after 8 hours sailing while they were leaving! A bloke on a cruiser shouted to us that they had only gone 400m in three hours. He obviously had a busy afternoon.
Chris? Jeckells the sailmaker apparently asked them if they wanted any advice from a sailmaker, they replied yes so he told them to take their sails down and motor!
Southgates yard in Horning has some good boats
