Man U and Middlesbrough were good and Safri's goal against Newcastle.

And that's about it.

I had been SO excited all pre-season then we couldn't even beat CP in the first game and it turned into one long, hard slog.

I'm much calmer this pre-season. It's a real bonus to be there so I have no huge expectations.

But more importantly, I really do trust our management team this time round. I loved that article someone posted the other day where Culverhouse went though different matches this season and explained how they learned from mistakes or put different strategies into place according to things they'd noticed with other teams.

Anyway it's gonna be fun. We won't need Delia to come and gee us up at half time because this team, you KNOW will just keep trying.
