Obviously, it's very early days, we're all still celebrating, etc...

... But I've already started playing the "who are the three clubs we can finish above next season?" game. Whoever wins the play-offs are one; but QPR can be expected to spend considerably more than us (on wages as much as anything), and after that, well, who?

I'm confident West Ham and Blackpool are for the chop. Of the others, Blackburn look in a tailspin on and off the park, so we might get above them; Birmingham aren't very good, but tend to grind just enough results out; Wigan, if they survive (and I really think they might) could just improve next year. Wolves, I think, are better than us and will also improve - so who does that leave? Fulham? Very unlikely. Sunderland? Possibly, but I doubt it. Stoke will be fine; so, under Hodgson, will West Brom.

Anyone see where I'm going with this? The hard part hasn't even started yet - at present, how we get above 19th, I really don't know.
